This is the Home Page of the Goon Appreciation Society (of Melbourne).

In Australia there is a group here in Melbourne (pronounced Mel-bun), Victoria.   There is also an independent group over in Perth, Western Australia run by Brian Allanson.

The GASM has a membership of about 100 families.

Due to lack of enthusiasm for administration and editing, we have suspended membership fees for the time being as we only publishing GAS Bored (our irregularly published magazine) as a newssheet of one page for Melbourne members only at my own expense.

The enthusiastic Melbourne members meet once a quarter for a Noon Goon Barbecue at one of our members houses or a suitable (free) public venue.  The details of how to find the meeting can be obtained from me at the above email address if you are intrested in coming along.

Meeting activities usually consist of discussing goonish topics and listening and watching British comedy shows with a bias towards the "golden days of radio".
