"The
defense
of
the
National
Report
in
the
Council
of
Europe
will
enable
the
beginning
of
the
coordination
of
the
legal
regulative
with
the
European
legislation.
Maybe
the
transitional
regime
will
last
for
one
year,
and
that
is
why
we
have
announced
the
open
competitions
for
directors
or
managers
that
have
submitted
programs
and
development
plans
for
the
upcoming
four
years",
Macedonian
Minister
of
Culture
Blagoj
Stefanovski
stated
in
the
interview
for
radio
BBC
in
Macedonian
language.
Referring
to
the
link
between
culture
in
Macedonia
and
the
Framework
Agreement,
Minister
Stefanovski
emphasized,
"culture
cannot
be
developed
according
to
percentages,
because
it
belongs
to
the
citizen
in
every
region".
According
to
him,
the
regionalization
and
decentralization
is
a
significant
segment
in
this
part
of
development
of
the
country.
"If
a
citizen
has
programs,
not
about
the
culture
of
the
Macedonian,
Albanian,
Turk
or
Serb,
but
of
artistic
value,
maybe
he
or
she
will
receive
funds
even
over
the
percentage
of
his/her
ethnicity",
Stefanovski
added.
Minister
Blagoj
Stefanovski
ends
Friday
his
four-day
visit
to
London,
upon
the
invitation
of
the
British
Council.
He
was
acquainted
with
the
British
experiences
regarding
the
policy
of
cultural
regionalization,
which
the
country
promoted
three
years
ago.
According
to
it,
the
regions
acquire
greater
authorization,
but
also
means
for
cultural
activities.
