- The
Council
of
the
EU
officially
revealed
today
the
black
list
of
extremists
in
Macedonia
obstructing
the
implementation
of
the
Ohrid
Agreement.
On
this
occasion,
European
Union
Special
Representative
in
Skopje
Soren
Jessen-Petersen
commented:
"The
adoption
of
this
common
position
by
the
Council
in
Brussels
is
a
clear
message
on
the
European
Union's
continuing
strong
support
for
the
full
implementation
of
the
Ohrid
Framework
Agreement
and
this
country's
path
towards
Europe.
The
visa
ban
is
tangible
evidence
that
the
EU
will
not
tolerate
extremist
and
undemocratic
means
blocking
the
full
implementation
of
the
Framework
Agreement
and
thus
progress
towards
Europe.
The
situation
will
be
kept
under
regular
review."
