We
insisted
on
sooner
resolution
of
case,
PM

says
Macedonian

"We
insisted
on
sooner
resolution
of
the
truth
about
the
case,
because
it
is
a
great
tragedy
for
our
country.
Nine
lives
have
been
lost,
among
whom
the
state's
President",
Prime
Minister
Branko
Crvenkovski
stated
in
Mostar
on
Sunday.
He
added
that
any
kind
of
prejudicing
on
the
causes
for
the
accident
was
inappropriate
at
the
moment.
"It
hasn't
still
been
decided
where
the
flight
recorder
will
be
inspected,
but
it
is
certain
where
it
will
not
go",
PM
Crvenkovski
emphasised,
alluding
to
the
recent
information
that
the
flight
recorder
will
not
be
inspected
in
Paris.
"Macedonia
will
use
all
possibilities
and
all
international
mechanisms
to
provide
a
quality
investigation,
which
should
lead
us
to
the
truth
and
leave
no
doubt
on
the
reasons
for
the
accident",
Crvenkovski
emphasised.
He
added
that
Macedonia
will
insist
on
clearing
up
all
the
controversial
information
that
appeared
at
the
day
of
the
plane
crash,
when
one
got
the
impression
of
the
weak
co-ordination
between
the
Bosnian
authorities
and
SFOR.
There
was
also
an
agreement
for
creation
of
a
dossier
on
all
written
correspondences
among
the
Bosnian
institutions
and
SFOR
on
February
26,
which
will
afterwards
be
submitted
to
the
Macedonian
officials.
"We
insist
on
performance
of
a
detailed
check
up
and
investigation",
Crvenkovski
emphasised.
He
added
that
there
is
no
information
of
where
the
French
air
traffic
controllers
are
at
the
moment.
"Wherever
they
are,
they
cannot
escape
from
the
investigation.
Their
statements
are
obligatory,
along
with
listening
of
the
tape
between
the
Macedonian
pilots
and
the
control
tower",
PM
Crvenkovski
stressed.
The
tape
is
already
in
the
hands
of
the
investigation
bodies,
but
its
content,
according
to
international
standards,
will
not
be
publicised
until
the
investigation
has
finished.
Crvenkovski
stated
that
there
are
strict
international
regulations
for
determination
of
the
reasons
for
the
plane
crash,
and
that
procedures
must
be
followed,
which
would
provide
the
truth.
As
announced,
the
DNA
analyses
of
the
victims
will
be
confirmed
by
mid-week
at
the
latest.
Due
to
the
identification
process,
it
is
still
uncertain
when
will
the
bodies
be
transferred
to
Macedonia.
Macedonian
Prime
Minister
Branko
Crvenkovski
arrived
at
the
crash
site
of
the
plane
that
carried
Macedonian
President
Boris
Trajkovski.
Crvenkovski
and
President's
Spokesman
Andrej
Lepavcev
laid
flowers
at
the
site
of
the
tragedy.
Crvenkovski
arrived
Sunday
in
Mostar
along
with
the
Chairman
of
the
Ministers'
Council
of
Bosnia
and
Herzegovina
Adnan
Terzik.
They
visited
the
morgue,
where
the
identification
of
bodies
is
being
performed.
A
commemorative
session
will
be
held
Monday
on
the
late
Macedonian
President
Boris
Trajkovski
at
the
Macedonian
Parliament.
Officials
of
the
diplomatic
corps
in
the
country
will
attend
the
commemorative
session.
The
plane
carrying
Macedonian
President
Boris
Trajkovski
crashed
at
the
524
peak
elevation
near
the
village
of
Huskovici,
some
15
kilometers
far
from
Mostar.
"I
am
deeply
touched
by
the
tragic
event,
the
plane
accident
in
which
Macedonian
President
Boris
Trajkovski
was
killed.
Our
country
lost
a
young
and
prosperous
politician
and
statesman,
an
honest
man,
good
husband
and
parent,"
former
Macedonian
President
Kiro
Gligorov
says
in
his
letter
of
condolences
sent
to
the
Macedonian
Parliament
and
President's
family.
"On
behalf
of
the
American
people,
I
express
my
deepest
condolences
to
the
family
of
President
Boris
Trajkovski
and
the
Macedonian
people,"
US
President
George
Bush
says
in
the
statement
on
occasion
of
Trajkovski's
death.
"Laura
and
I
mourn
for
the
death
of
Macedonian
President
Boris
Trajkovski,
a
respected
leader
and
friend
of
USA",
Bush
emphasises
in
the
statement.
"USA
strongly
supports
the
vision
of
President
Trajkovski
for
multiethnic
democratic
Macedonia,
peaceful
within
and
in
peace
with
its
neighbours
on
the
road
to
its
accession
in
the
transatlantic
community",
US
President
George
Bush
says.
Some
local
media
reported
that
the
plane
probably
tried
to
perform
an
emergency
landing
at
a
plain
near
the
village
of
Huskovici,
15
kilometers
far
from
the
airport
of
Mostar.
Three
plane
accidents
in
radius
of
250
kilometers
happened
in
that
region.
Former
President
of
SFRY
Dzemal
Bijedic
(1977),
US
Secretary
of
Commerce
Ron
Brown
(1996)
and
Macedonian
President
Boris
Trajkovski
were
the
victims
of
the
planes'
accidents.
