Stefanovski
along
with
Parliament
Speaker
Ljupco
Jordanovski
visited
Kocani
Wednesday,
where
they
met
city
Mayor
Todor
Pasovski
and
attended
the
ceremony,
held
in
honor
of
ASNOM
jubilee
and
restoration
of
the
Liberty
Monument
-
Grigor
Cemerski's
work
of
art.
The
Ministry
of
Culture,
Bureau
for
Protection
of
Monuments
and
local
government
provided
over
Denar
1,7
million
for
this
project,
Stefanovski
said.
"For
the
last
two
years,
many
monuments
in
Krusevo,
Smilevo,
Veles,
Bitola,
Prilep,
Kocani,
Kumanovo
and
other
places
have
been
restored
with
the
UNESCO
financial
support,
Stefanovski
said,
adding
that
the
Italian
Government
will
grant
Euro
two
million
for
reconstruction
of
culture
houses
in
Macedonia.
He
also
confirmed
that
this
year
Struga
Poetry
Evenings
(SPE)
would
be
held
in
spite
of
some
initiatives
against
the
festival.
"No
one
is
entitled
to
manipulate
with
this
world's
festival
of
poetry.
SPE
enjoys
the
UNESCO
support
and
we
shall
do
our
best
for
hundreds
of
poets
that
will
come
to
Struga
to
have
no
feeling
of
being
hostages
of
someone's
politics,"
Stefanovski
said.
