Macedonia
is
moving
in
the
right
direction
towards
EU,
and
one
of
the
phases
of
that
road
is
the
Framework
Agreement
implementation
and
the
territorial
organization,
French
Foreign
Minister
Michel
Barnier
said
after
Tuesday's
talks
with
Macedonian
FM
Ilinka
Mitreva.
French
FM
said
that
France,
along
with
other
European
partners,
was
engaged
in
solving
the
crisis
in
Macedonia
in
2001,
adding
that
his
country
will
continue
to
support
Macedonia
in
the
process
of
the
European
integration.
"Macedonia
should
serve
as
a
good
example
of
coexistence
not
only
to
maintain
what
has
been
achieved
in
terms
of
respect
for
diversities
but
also
for
the
sake
of
the
entire
region",
Barnier
said.
Speaking
that
one
of
the
phases
on
the
path
towards
EU
is
the
territorial
organization,
Barnier
said
"the
country
should
not
follow
the
game
of
those
who
want
to
take
Macedonia
out
of
the
road
leading
to
the
EU".
Macedonian
FM
praised
France
for
its
support
to
Macedonia
in
the
most
important
momentum
of
the
process
of
country's
integration
into
the
European
Union.
Mitreva
told
her
French
counterpart
to
organize
a
meeting
of
the
Adriatic
Group
members
in
France,
noting
that
Serbia-Montenegro
should
be
also
invited
to
the
meeting.
The
meeting
will
focus
on
European
and
Euro-Atlantic
perspectives
of
the
Balkans.
She
informed
that
one
of
the
topics
at
the
meeting
were
the
possibilities
for
investments
in
the
country,
stressing
that
Macedonia
is
open,
ready
and
safe
for
foreign
direct
investments.
Mitreva
also
said
that
they
also
discussed
on
visa
regime
liberalization
for
Macedonian
citizens,
aiming
at
alleviating
the
expensive
and
long
procedures
for
visas'
issuing.
