sign
agreement
on
economic
and
technical
cooperation

and
Chinese
Vice-Minister
of
Commerce
Yu
Guangzhou
Friday
signed
Agreement
on
Economic
and
Technical
Cooperation
between
the
Governments
of
both
countries.
The
Agreement
provides
US
2,5
million
Chinese
donation
for
Macedonia.
It
will
be
probably
used
for
the
country's
development
in
general.
Dochi
and
Guangzhou
stressed
that
both
countries
were
interested
in
further
development
of
the
trade
co-operation,
adding
that
Macedonian
and
Chinese
companies
should
be
encouraged
to
increase
the
investments
and
reciprocal
exchange.
"I
hope
that
with
the
further
cooperation,
especially
in
infrastructure
and
hydroelectric
power
stations,
we
will
succeed
to
boost
the
development
of
other
industrial
sectors",
the
Chinese
Vice-Minister
said.
The
trade
exchange
between
Macedonia
and
China
in
the
first
half
of
2004
is
at
US$
40
million
with
Macedonia's
deficit
of
US$
37,6
million.
