with
UN
Civil
Administrator
to
Kosovo,
Soren
Jessen
Petersen.
At
the
meeting,
Petersen
proposed
the
opening
of
a
free
trade
office
and
signing
of
an
interim
agreement
with
the
Kosovo
administration,
as
well
as
establishment
of
an
air
link
with
Skopje
Airport.
The
opening
of
a
free
trade
office
and
signing
of
an
interim
agreement
have
the
objective
to
alleviate
the
regime
of
goods
transfer
and
decrease
of
smuggling
and
illegal
border
crossings
on
both
sides.
The
initiative
for
establishment
of
an
air
link
for
communication
with
the
Skopje
Airport
is
part
of
the
project
of
the
Stability
Pact
for
opening
of
the
sky
over
Kosovo.
The
use
of
the
services
of
the
air-flight
control
at
the
Pristina
Airport
would
contribute
to
the
strengthening
of
economic
relations
and
intensification
of
regional
air
traffic.
PM
Kostov
accepted
the
initiatives,
which
should
be
presented
and
verified
by
the
Macedonian
Government.
Kostov
informed
Petersen
on
the
amendments
in
the
Law
on
Local
Elections,
the
decentralization
law
package,
and
economic
reforms.
On
the
other
hand,
Kosovo
Civil
Administrator
informed
the
Macedonian
PM
on
the
upcoming
elections
in
the
province.
