Parliament holds session on voting no confidence of Government

Macedonian Information Agency (Sep 18, 2004) (MIA) - Macedonian Parliament Saturday within the frameworks of the 78th session debates the initiative on voting no confidence of the government, which was submitted by 24 representatives of the opposition.

The initiative is submitted due to the poor results of the government in the past two years. The proposal will be passed if 61 out of 120 representatives support it.

The vote of no confidence in the government is taken after three days have elapsed from the day of its proposal.

Another vote of no confidence in the government may not be proposed before 90 days have elapsed since the last such vote, unless proposed by a majority of all representatives.
