and
Branislav
Bjelica
Wednesday
in
Skopje
signed
Protocol
on
Cooperation
between
both
Ministries.
The
Protocol
means
international
cooperation
in
the
field
of
harmonization
of
the
regulations
with
European
standards,
international
legal
assistance
in
civil
and
criminal
suits,
as
well
as
cooperation
in
the
sphere
of
carrying
out
criminal
sanctions,
fight
against
organized
crime,
terrorism,
human
trafficking,
money
laundering
and
corruption.
Altandzieva
pointed
out
that
reforms
in
the
judicial
system
in
both
countries,
as
well
as
the
necessity
of
regional
cooperation
as
a
condition
for
European
partnership
were
central
topics
of
the
talks.
"The
regional
cooperation
is
necessary
due
to
all
forms
of
organized
crime,
as
cooperation
among
Justice
and
Interior
Ministries
in
the
regional
countries
is
necessary,"
Altandzieva
said.
Bjelica
pointed
out
that
the
Protocol
was
continuation
of
previous
cooperation
and
a
basis
for
further
cooperation
between
both
Ministries.
"In
relation
to
harmonization
of
the
legislation
we
are
at
the
same
level.
We
have
to
pass
the
witness
protection
laws,
as
afterwards
international
conference
of
SEE
countries
will
be
organized,"
Bjelica
said.
Serbian
delegation
led
by
Deputy
Minister
Branislav
Bjelica
during
the
stay
in
Macedonia
will
meet
representatives
of
Macedonian
judiciary
institutions.
