Skopje,
MACEDONIA
-
The
Macedonian
Academy
of
Sciences
and
Arts
(MANU)
Tuesday
organizes
a
two-day
scientific
meeting
on
topic
"Opened
challenges
of
Macedonia's
economy."
Academician
Ksente
Bogoev
welcomed
the
participants
of
the
meeting
saying
that
the
initiative
came
from
the
need
to
review
the
current
situation
in
Macedonia's
economy,
to
identify
the
problems
and
find
solutions.
"Our
goal
is
to
motivate
all
factors
which
are
bearers
of
the
country's
economy,
including
the
Government,
and
to
find
a
way
for
resolving
of
the
problems
in
Macedonia's
economy,"
Bogoev
said.
Prime
Minister
Hari
Kostov
also
addressed
the
meeting,
pointing
out
that
macroeconomic
stability
and
fiscal
discipline
have
been
achieved
in
the
last
period,
but
however
it
was
not
enough
for
economic
progress.
Kostov
said
that
independently
of
the
outside
factors,
their
indecisiveness
to
carry
out
real
structural
reforms
had
a
great
influence.
MANU
president
Cvetan
Grozdanovski
opened
the
meeting,
while
many
economic
experts
from
Macedonia
are
expected
read
their
reports.
