-
Gjokica
Hadzievski
has
resigned
as
coach
of
Macedonian
champions
FK
Vardar,
citing
a
desire
to
work
abroad
following
a
successful
spell
at
the
Skopje
club.
Hadzievski
has
been
in
sole
charge
of
Vardar
over
the
past
two
seasons,
campaigns
which
have
both
brought
titles
to
the
City
stadium.
Previously
he
was
part
of
a
coaching
team
which
won
three
championships,
making
him
the
most
successful
coach
in
the
history
of
football
in
Macedonia.
Hadzievski
said:
"I
am
very
happy
that
we
have
won
the
last
two
titles.
This
is
a
talented
generation
of
footballers
at
Vardar
and
I
hope
many
of
these
players
move
on
to
play
for
famous
European
teams.
It
was
thanks
to
a
brilliant
end
to
the
season
that
we
won
the
championship
this
season
and
I
hope
the
good
results
continue
in
the
future."
Vardar
claimed
the
championship
in
their
penultimate
game
by
beating
FK
Tikves
6-2.
They
completed
their
Prva
Fudbalska
Liga
season
yesterday,
losing
1-0
at
second-placed
FK
Belasica
GC.
Vardar
will
compete
in
the
UEFA
Champions
League's
first
qualifying
round.
