The
Macedonian
Football
Federation
(MFF)
has
named
FK
Belasica
GC's
Robert
Popov
as
Macedonia's
player
of
the
year
for
a
second
successive
year.
The
Macedonian
international
midfield
player
also
took
the
title
last
year
and
joins
Zoran
Boskovski
of
FK
Sileks
(1993,1994)
and
Nedzmedin
Memedi
of
FK
Sloga
Jugomagnat
and
Sileks
(1995,
1999)
as a
two-time
winner
of
the
accolade.
"I
am
pleased
with
this
award
and
I
will
give
my
best
to
be
better
next
year,"
Popov
said.
"I
hope
that
Belasica
can
finally
succeed
next
year
and
take
the
championship
title.
I
also
hope
that
the
Macedonian
national
team
will
get
even
better
result
than
this
year."
The
coach
of
the
year
award
went
to
Mirsad
Jonuz
after
he
took
FK
Pobeda
to
their
first
ever
Macedonian
Cup
victory
in
2001/02.
