today's second round of
the V8 Supercar Series
at Phillip Island, the
race red-flagged on lap
56 with the field having
followed the safety car
for seven laps.

disappointment of
qualifying at Philip
Island in 31st position,
TKR V8 Supercar Driver
Craig Baird pushed
himself and the TKR 021
Commodore to the limits
and on occasions beyond
to move up from 31st
position on the 32 car
grid to finish in a
respectful 19th position
at the end of the
shortened 300km race.
