to Alice Springs

Transport to Standley Chasm by a 
local mini bus tour to get dropped off and walk back.  There were  Stephen S, Peter E, John E, David F, 
and myself

A private car was used in conjuntion with a small  hire-car, by leaving a car at Ormiston Gorge; 
then walked the Heavitree Range

Counts Point 
From here you can see 
the four tallest mountains. 
Mt Zeil is the highest at 1581m

Serpentine Chalet Campsite
My ankle was hurt here while I was trying to take a picture of camp fire.  Missed out Inarlanga Pass.  Walked out myself to Serpentine Chalet Bush Camp to meet others the next day

Ormiston Gorge
where the group enjoyed an evening meal together.  Vietnamese asparagus soup, vegie pancake, plum pudding, and  a bottle of SA port
